ENTRY FEES AND DEADLINES

  • $45 for entries postmarked on or before Friday, June 27

  • $25 for student entries postmarked on or before Friday, June 27
    (must include photocopy of current school ID)

  • $65 for all entries postmarked Saturday, June 28 through Friday, July 18

  • Entries postmarked after July 18 will not be judged.

Payment

Payment by credit card, check or money order is accepted. Checks in U.S. dollars should be made payable to the WBEZ Alliance, Inc., and should accompany the entry form. Please also include "TCIAF" somewhere on your check. All checks must be issued from U.S. banks. If submitting more than one entry, send one check for the total entry fee.


Technical requirements:
  • Entries are accepted on cd only.
  • Two copies (2 cds) of each entry should be submitted
  • CDs should not contain audio other than entry material - no intros or leads!

All entries must include:
  • Completed entry form
  • Brief producer bio (80 words max)
  • A written version of the host lead, or a short intro for the entry
    Please submit bio and lead/intro on separate pages
  • TWO copies of each entry on separate cds. Each cd should be labeled with the producer’s name, program title and length of entry.
  • Entry fee payment
  • Statement of qualification with Best New Artist Award entries
  • Statement of impact and supporting materials with Radio Impact Award entries

Once entries arrive:
  • Notification that we have received your entry will be sent by email, along with a receipt for your entry fee, within one week of its arrival.
  • Winners will be notified in early September 2008.
  • Entries will not be returned.
